Does anyone know of any resources I could use to track down some new weaving patterns? My Uncle wanted me to do a pompano on his surf rod but the end result looked like a cross between a jack crevelle and one of those pokemon characters. Any help would be appreciated.

im not a big weave guy myself, but cathy kruse (rodroom) showed me a lot from her weave folder. and she just draws the design on graph paper and numbers the boxes then throws it down with thread. |

Get a hold of ellisredfish on the members list, his weaves and work are outstanding. Ellis is an upstanding guy and am certain if you send him the pic he'll put them on graph with a left list. |

How do I go about tracking someone down on this forum? I'm new here, and still figuring things out.
- As far as the weaving goes, I think I just need to make it bigger. I do names mostly, and scale isn't a huge issue with something that simple. But my uncle asked for a pompano, not pac-man so I need to get this stuff figured out. |

I have worked with Doc Ski in the past and have Owen Dare's new Pic-to -weave program, so sky is the limit on weaving for any one that has the time. If you need a pattern IM me and I will do my best to help all out.
Thanks Tom "sewerratking" Walters |

As Eddie has posted, Doc and I have worked together on the Purple Heart and that pattern is avilable to any and all that would like it. Just one thing that I and Doc would like is that if you do it, make sure the person has EARNED that honor. The pattern is free to all who would like it, just contact me and I will send it thought an email. I am alittle more advanced that my teacher Doc at the "puter" stuff......lol. |

I have a new and improved pattern thanks to sewerratking. 80 threads, absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to get it finished and show off some pics! |
